Sunup Days Remembered

This playlist obviously has Sunup tunes, but also includes many of the cover tunes that we performed over the years. Most of the cover tunes are from the 1970’s, because Sunup was in action in its various forms from 1973 through 1995 and beyond (even though we only did a reunion gig in 2007). This list brought a smile to my face as it helped recreate the memories. In some instances it was almost like going back in time.

Power of Song

I’m guessing this playlist will just keep expanding. It is now over 13 hours! Everyone experiences music in a different way. While there are a variety of styles, each have an impact or carries a message, whether it be about love or corruption or broken relationships – it runs the gamut. But some of the production is lush and big, while other songs are just bare bones (guitar or piano and vocal). The point is to experience the poignancy of the songs and lyrics (most will have lyrics). The other aspect is just to appreciate the talent of these artists.

Ramp It Up

Sacandaga Suite

15 1/2 hours of music – this playlist is a culmination of songs that represent my time at the Great Sacandaga Lake. The music tends to be tranquil and deep, with a lot of strings, or gentle songs. It takes you right to the beach on a beautiful morning with the sun rising.
